Master Plan
The Edgewater Chalets are located on 2,640 acre Master Planned Community located in the Upper Ogden Valley surrounded by an abundance of recreation and spectacular views. The Resort is located on Pineview Reservoir with a planned village center with shopping, dining and lodging and over 76% of the Resort is dedicated to Open Space.
Recreation
Locals and visitors alike enjoy skiing at Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and Wolf Creek Ski Resort, whitewater activities and fishing along the Weber River, miscellaneous water sports on the Pineview Reservoir, as well as 18 holes of golf at Wolf Creek Resort. Growth
The small townships of Huntsville, Eden and Liberty have seen record growth over the past few years due to the more recent demand for resort based real estate and its overall proximity to the big city. This is largely due to the facts of over 75 Million Baby-Boomers retiring in the next decade, as well as increased property values in surrounding areas such as the Wasatch County (Heber City), Park City and Salt Lake Valley seeing record increases throughout the past few years.
Growth can also be contributed to the exposure that the 2002 Olympic Winter Games brought to the Upper Ogden Valley including Snowbasin Ski Resort which hosted the Men's & Women's Downhill, Combined Slalom and Super G events.

Design Philosophy
Whisper Ridge is an architecturally planned community that begins with a respect and consideration of the natural landscape and reflects the independent spirit of the west. Through architectural design , and planning of home sites Whisper Ridge intends to be large scale work of art, where the subtle blending of people, structures, and the native landscape result in a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing community.
Architectural Design
The aesthetic objective of every home at Whisper Ridge should be to allow the buildings to fit quietly into the existing landscape. The goal is to create appealing and interesting structures that are subtle and complementary to the dominant beauty of the mountain setting and not over power it.
There is no “Whisper Ridge style”; however there is a unifying philosophy of design Homes should reflect regional traditions and respond to the unique character design requirements of the mountain climate. The desire is for as much subtle expression as imagination, topography, and continuity will allow. The principle objective is to add elements of architectural richness and variety to individual dwellings without allowing exceedingly flashy, ostentatious or attention-grabbing designs.
