Powder Mountain

There's a difference between snow from heaven and artificial snow. Snow purists prefer Ogden's Powder Mountain Resort, where only genuine, fallen-from-the-sky Utah powder graces its steep slopes. Known for its gold medal terrain and excellent natural snow, Powder Mountain is a prime winter and summer destination. Its ski and board season usually lasts from mid-November to mid-April. Although the resort has always welcomed hikers and mountain bikers during the summer months, a 4 X 4 adventure tour was offered for the first time in 2008. The resort offers slope-side accommodations and free shuttle service to most of the lodging in Eden.

Partnering with various local and national organizations, Powder Mountain has hosted cleanup projects, environmental awareness campaigns and has supported various non-profit organizations. Powder Mountain is deeply committed to not only provide the best possible mountain experience for visitors and employees, but to also reach out beyond the slopes and help the greater good.

One of Powder Mountain's greatest assets, the Lightning Ridge Snowcat will take you to the top of Lightning Ridge with very little effort. Once on top you will access over 700 challenging acres of pristine powder snow with an impressive 2100' vertical drop.
